TikTok Adventurer – Summer Term Position (July/August)
Tourism Westman is looking for a creative and independent individual to help us with content creation & promotion of Southwest Manitoba this summer, primarily via the TikTok social media platform. This is a contracted virtual position which offers flexible hours and a summer full of fun and adventure! The ideal candidate is 16+, has their driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, has a passion for travel and tourism as well as social media.
Tourism Westman is a board-run non-profit destination marketing organization in Manitoba. Our mandate is to promote tourism in our region and assist communities in developing and marketing their tourism initiatives. We work with local government, business owners, and other key industry partners to promote rural tourism in Southwest Manitoba.
The tourism industry has an important role in economic development due to its ability to create demand in commercial activities that create growth for many more industries. Tourism not only contributes to more economic activities but also generates more employment, revenues, and plays a significant role in community economic development.
