High quality footwear your thing? (and if it isn’t, ask yourself why the heck not) – This place has got you (well, your feet) covered! The Union Shoe Store has been in the Mehos/Pappas family for three generations, since it was purchased upon their arrival from Greece in 1929! The shop originally offered services for custom made shoes, repairs, shoe shine and blocking and cleaning hats. The retail aspect of the business was added in 1960 and continues to follow the core values carried forward from the first generation of the family by focusing on customer service and offering quality products from all over the world. In addition to the large selection of brand-name shoes, boots, sandals, slippers and other footwear, the shop is know to carry Smart Wool socks, leather mitts, purses as well as Pendleton blankets and towels. In 2015, the decision was made to give up the shoe repair department, however TC Leather Co. (A.K.A. The Shoe Repair Shop) moved in and continues to not only offer shoe repair at the same convenient address, but just about any kind of leather work, specializing in custom made belts.  Pop on in to have your feet professionally sized and try on some new kicks to put the pep back into your step! @unionshoes1929
