The Mid-West Arts Council provides artistic and cultural opportunities. At the arts centre people can partake in art classes, painting parties, concerts, enjoy the galleries, tea at the old bank, street markets, and many more different events always being organized. The arts centre is located in a historical brick building which was once the Union Bank and then the Royal Bank, the vault is used as a mini shop for people to sell their pieces.
