The “original” estate brewery of North America, Farmery Estate Brewery is both a farm and a brewery. The farm grows ingredients for beer such as barley and hops, and their twenty-acre hopyard is one of the largest in Western Canada. The Farmery brewery brews delicious beer in a variety of styles for the beer and non-beer drinker alike.
During the spring, summer and fall months, visitors can take a self-guided tour through the barley fields and hopyard on the farm located just ten minutes east of Neepawa on the famous Number 16 Yellowhead highway. Any time of the year visitors can also swing by the brewery itself in the town of Neepawa for a brewery tour and sample a Farmery beer flight, visit the gift and beer shop to not only buy beer made with ingredients grown on the farm, but also other unique Farmery products–such as Farmery Flour mixes like flapjack or beer bread mix made with Farmery milled barley, or Farmery Malted Sodas, a unique pop soda crafted with barley sugar loved by adults and kids alike. Hungry visitors in the summer months can order from the on-premise food truck featuring food made from ingredients grown on the farm such as beer-and-barley flour-battered fish and chips and genuine smoked BBQ pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce.
For a unique agri-tourism visit like no other, visit Farmery Estate Brewery to see and taste the beauty of a “value-added” family farm and brewery in action.
