Moncur Gallery’s “People of the Plains” exhibit offers visitors an immersive and educational journey through the Indigenous history of the Turtle Mountain region, highlighting the deep connection between people, land, and culture over thousands of years. Located within the Irvin Goodon International Wildlife Museum in Boissevain, the gallery combines authentic storytelling, interactive experiences, archaeological simulations, audio tours, and culturally respectful interpretation to create a meaningful understanding of First Nations and Métis history in the region.
