The Bend Cemetery

Referred to as a historic site as it is the final resting place of many pioneers including the original surveyor, Duncan Sinclair. Should you visit this peaceful spot, you may note that the grave of Duncan Sinclair faces north – to the North Star. This was a custom sometimes observed when surveyors died. With genealogy being a common hobby, the Bend Cemetery is visited by many researching their roots.
