Sipiweske Museum

Sipiweske Museum is located in the first Wawanesa Mutual Insurance building built in 1901. The building is a municipal and provincial designated historic site. The collection includes memorabilia of pioneer life in the Wawanesa area, of notable residents of the area such as Nellie McClung and the Criddle/Vane family, and of the history of the Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company. The St. John the Divine Anglican Church, which was built in the town of Rounthwaite, MB in 1882, is a designated provincial heritage building located on-site.
